This year’s Music cohort has 3 fantastic project briefs to choose from, this included everything from songwriting opportunities to live performance. Each and every student on TICE music had the chance to put their talent into practice and working towards briefs produced by some incredible companies from Loft Music Studios to Generator to Universal Publishing. What an amazing experience for a 3 day project, yes… only 3 days, here’s how they did; Project One: Evolution Emerging Music Areas: Songwriting and Performance Mentor: Sam Burt For this project Generator was offering young emerging artists the chance to secure a gig at the prestigious event Evolution Emerging. For 2016, in its objective of supporting talent at infancy, it would like to hear from U18 bands who feel as though they have got what it takes to play alongside some of the more well established regional artists. Students were challenged to form a band with 4 other TICE Gold members. Together they needed write an original song, perform it and record a rough demo, time permitting.
